I had no idea what to wear to work on Thursday, all I knew was I needed to wear my comfy boots as I would be doing a lot of walking.

They became my starting point, as I can’t wear jeans to work, I knew I would need to wear these boots with a skirt or dress.

I grabbed my striped navy and white top and my black knee-length skirt, as the skirt is dark I didn’t want a dark blazer, and as I still don’t own a light blazer (note to self, must get light coloured blazer) I was limited to my neon pink blazer, black and white military cropped jacket, and blonde cardi.

I decided to go with the cropped jacket, even though the stripes were black not navy,  because they both had white and the same pattern, I knew they would go.

I wanted to anchor the tan boots into the outfit, so I went with this tan and gold statement necklace, tan belt and leopard print bag! ……there perfect!

I was pretty happy with the outcome, especially as all this went on at 7am with a 2 year old clipping at my heels!
